have great pleasure in extending a warm invitation to everyone with interests in the poultry and allied fields to attend the

XXI International Poultry Symposium PB WPSA

“Science for poultry practice – poultry practice for science”

which will be held from 7th to 9th of September 2009
in Hotel „LAS”, Piechowice /near Jelenia Góra, Poland (www.hotel-las.pl)



The Symposium will focus on the following issues:
A. Biological basis of poultry production.
B. Environment, welfare and veterinary prophylactics in poultry production.
C. Nutrition and utilization of different feed components.
D. Quality and safety of poultry products.
E. Ecological and alternative system of poultry production.

The Symposium will create the excellent opportunity to share the knowledge with scientists and poultry producers, in the fields relevant to industry, science and technology of poultry breeding, management and production, as well as to enjoy the beauty of Polish Gold Autumn in one of the most exciting part of Poland.
Submitted papers will be accepted by Scientific Committee as posters or short 10. minutes oral presentation during corresponding sessions.

Filled on the Registration Form (according to appendix #1) should be send until April 15, 2009.
One page abstracts (according to appendix #2 - paper submission) should be submitted until May 15, 2009:

Abstracts will be published in Symposium Proceedings. There is a possibility to publish full papers in Zeszyty Naukowe Uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego we Wrocławiu, Seria: Biologia i Hodowla Zwierząt.

Registration Fee amounts:
• 170 € - for non WPSA members,
• 150 € - for WPSA members,
• 120 € - for students and young research workers (below 30 years old).

Registration fee includes: participation in all sessions, organization expenses, proceedings, lunches, tee & coffee, barbeque dinner with folk music, official dinner, walking trip.
